This is part of my collection of Condor frames, the earliest one being 1953, covering every model available during the 1960s.

This is an 1898 Columbia Pope Chainless Safety Bicycle with wooden rims. Unrestored

This is an 1897 Marot Gardon 1.25hp Tricycle powered by a De Dion Bouton engine. Raced in 1897 in Paris/Bordeaux. Finished 7th in 1898, 2nd in class. This was followed in 1898 by victories in Paris/Roubaix and Paris/Dieppe as well as a record-setting victory Tours to Blois return covering 100kms at a record speed of 44.78 km/h.

St John's Benefit Road Race Pennant March 1970. First ever Pro/Am Road

Race. It was based around Newgate Street.


The result was as follows - 1st Reg Smith, 2nd Phil Griffiths, 3rd

Albert Hitchen, 4th Colin Lewis, 5th John Clarey, 6th Danny Horton, 7th

Claude Kearley, 8th George Clare, 9th Graham Moore and 10th Goz Goodman.
